After YOUR initial questionnaire we’ll contact you to go over your financial goals.
We’ll match and schedule you with a CFP WealthGuide that we believe will be the best fit for helping you achieve your financial goals. This meeting is complimentary and the intent is for you to get to know your WealthGuide and for them to get to know you.
Next you’ll select the service you’d like to move forward with. If you have additional questions we’re happy to chat over email, talk on the phone, and/or meet again so that you can feel confident with your decision. When you’re ready and give us “the go” then it’s on to the Service Execution phase!
Wealth Management


We will schedule you for a 60-minute data gathering and goal-setting session with your CFP® Wealth Guide. Typical things we will ask for include:
- Your short, medium, and long term money goals.
- Account Statements
- Most recent tax returns
- Estate planning documents (such as a Will, Power of Attorney, and Trust documentation)
- Driver’s license or other government ID.
- W-2 and 1099 Wage and Tax Statements
- Account Statements
- Insurance or Annuity Policy Information
- Employment Information
- Employer Benefit Information.
- And More

Once we have all the info that we need from you, our team will review everything, prepare our follow-up questions, and develop your initial financial plan.

After our review phase, we’ll reach out to schedule your second meeting of the execution phase to present our initial model of your financial plan. In this meeting we’ll introduce you to our financial planning software, show you the plan that we have created based on the information you’ve given us, show you how you currently stand financially, and talk through possible strategies/recommendations we would make to help you achieve your wealth goals.

After our meeting and after you’ve had sufficient time to consider our recommendations, if you give us the go we will proceed forward on all agreed-upon action items for you and us. We’ll take the lead on holding us both accountable over the following weeks as we implement and monitor the agreed-upon courses of action.

As needed we’ll schedule a follow-up meeting within a reasonable period. If no follow-up meeting is needed we will reach out anyway before 2 months goes by to check in with you on how our recommendations have been working for you and to make sure we are staying up to date on any new recommendations that may need to be made.

From here we’ll continue to proactively reach out every 6 months to offer to schedule a meeting but you’re always welcome to schedule sooner if need be. In addition, you will always have access to call, text, or email your advisor anytime you want to talk.

This is just the beginning of our service offering! We make a point to continue to be available and ready to help you with your financial decisions. We encourage clients to rely upon our guidance after their initial financial plan creation.
The most important part of the plan is the execution and we strive to continually support you as we monitor and implement the recommended courses of action. In addition, life happens and things change! That is why it’s essential to have a financial guide that knows you but is ready to be dynamic and help you shift your money strategies as your goals and interests inevitably change.

Our process for financial planning starts the same as our wealth management process.

Investing


We’ve found there can be many reasons that people prefer just to invest with us. Whether that be that you are already working with a financial planner that you like or that you don’t have time to be meeting with an advisor right away. We understand.
After your initial call with a CFP professional we will send you a financial questionnaire to gather more of your information. From there we will send you our digital account opening envelope to your email.
There are multiple ways in which we are able to fund the account. Whether that be from your checking or savings account or a direct transfer from another account. If funding a retirement account via a transfer or rollover from an employer-sponsored plan for example, your situation might be more complicated but we’ll walk you through the process step-by-step.
Opening an account with WealthGuides will give us the discretion to choose the investments. Based on the financial information you have given us and from your conversations with a CFP professional we’ll allocate into one of our managed portfolios that fits best for accomplishing your investment goals. If for any reason those goals change please reach out to us so we can make the necessary adjustments.
That’s about it! We’ll continue to trade, monitor, reallocate, adjust, and manage until you give us instruction to do differently. We will periodically notify you about how we are shifting your portfolio allocation as the capital global markets change. However we will not notify you of all changes as we may need to make changes to individual positions as needed on a timely basis. You are more than welcome to turn on trade notifications to be eligible for notifications of those actions as well. Never hesitate to reach out to your CFP professional if you have any questions.
If at any point while investing with us that you cross over $600,000 in total invested assets, your CFP professional will reach out to you to offer our additional financial planning offering at no additional cost.
